Special Domestic Abuse service referrals have increased by 62% during “lockdown”

More Positive Me CIC recognise that home is not always a safe place for people. Staying at home has led to and increase in abuse for victims and their families at a time when access to outside support has been limited.

This Domestic Abuse recovery service based in the South West has made itself more accessible by creating online courses, as well as offering in person support, for survivors of Domestic Abuse and Violence.

Directors and Course Facilitators, Jeanette Brown and Debbie Coleiro, help survivors rebuild their self esteem and self worth, empowering them to make positive changes in their lives.

The next course, Rediscovering You, a self care tool kit (a 6 session e-course) begins 01 July 2020.
