As well as basic contact details, you can also find feedback from other people about what they think about these services. You can also find information about other services in your area that can help you with conditions from Alzheimers through to weight loss.

Housing Care provides a vast range of free information and guidance for elderly people, their relatives and carers, as well as professionals who work with them. Including specialist directories of over 40,000 retirement housing developments and care homes in the UK.

Citizens Advice is a national and Devon based service that provides free, independent, confidential and impartial advice to everyone on their rights and responsibilities. Independent Health Complaints Advocacy (IHCA) provides advocacy support to people who need help to make a complaint about health and social care services – or lack of it – that they have received from the NHS. This service is delivered by The Advocacy People, with the Devon Advocacy Consortium.
Care Quality Commission Where you can view all registered services including care homes. The CQC checks all hospitals, dentists, care homes and care services to see if they meet national standards. You can find out what they have to say about these services in your area by visiting their website.
