Text Shout to 85258

Shout is a 24/7 UK crisis text service available for times when people feel they need immediate support.

By texting ‘SHOUT’ to ‘85258’ a Texter will be put in touch with a trained Crisis Volunteer (CV) who will chat to them using trained techniques via text. The service is designed to help individuals to think more clearly and to take their next steps to feeling better.

Support 4 Supporters Facebook Group

Support for supporters want to give a Breathing space for all of these supporters and carers of their loved ones who are suffering. To share similar experiences, to listen, be a shoulder to cry on, to take time out, to literally just breath and realise what an amazing person you are, and you are not alone.


Free, confidential, NHS talking therapy service for people over 18 for people who are struggling to cope, feeling low, anxious or overwhelmed by their thoughts and feelings. The service helps people to feel better by giving them the tools and techniques to improve mental and physical wellbeing.
We are open to all referrals offering initial assessment appointments and follow up sessions on the telephone or through digital platforms.

• Through self-service, please telephone 0300 555 3344 or the wesbite (website has online self-referral form). Self-referrals will be contacted by phone to offer an initial appointment. This will be via phone/telehealth rather than face-2-face during the covid-19 pandemic.
• Talkworks are also offering a bespoke, prioritised entry into this service for ALL NHS & SOCIAL CARE workers. Contact details are the same as listed above.
